Rev. Dr. Christopher Lee Coleman, Ph. D.

Born on 23 August 1956 in Brooklyn, NY of Billie Coleman, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Bell.

Elementary and Secondary education in Brooklyn, NY and received a B. A. in Religion, Philosophy and Education from The Lindenwood Colleges, St. Charles, MO (1976). Received several Master degrees including a Master of Divinity from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, Huntington, NY (1994). Completed a Doctorate of Philosophy in Sociology from the Graduate School and University Center, CUNY (1997).

Ordained in 1994 as a Priest for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, NY. Presently ministering at the Churches of Our Lady of Good Counsel and Holy Rosary. Also, a Professor of Sociology at St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, NY, and a member of the Board of the National Black Clergy Caucus.
