Congress X: "Christ is With Us: Celebrating the Gifts of the Sacraments." Many comments about experiencing spiritual renewal have been received by the Congress Office. We also had dynamic speakers and an awesome Youth Track and Young Adult Concurrent Sessions. As we continue our work on the Core Principles, we know that Christ and His Church provides a solid foundation for a promising future for the Black Catholic Movement.
We rejoiced in the opportunities to learn how the sacramental life is integral to our work on the Core Principles. Participants were encouraged to take what they have learned in the liturgies, workshops, and other gatherings back to their homes. Congress X Closing Document will be issued to participants soon and posted to the National Black Catholic Congress (NBCC) web site.
We must be patient! Just as it takes time for fruit to grow, we must allow God to continue to shower His graces upon us, cooperate with these graces, and see our plans come to fruition.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.'"
