The positive effects for staying pure aren't
rewarded to just the people who choose the way of abstinence. These people
also bless their children by giving their offspring the gift of growing up
in a healthy environment where their parents can take care of them. Children
deserve to reside in a house where their mother and father share mutual
values and work together in parenting their young ones. How will a teenager
afford and take care of a child when that teen goes to high school, plays
sports, and receives financial and other help from his or her parents?
My life as a high school senior seems difficult
enough without worrying about sexual diseases and children. The rewards for
staying abstinent will last a lifetime and hopefully influence generations
to come. Because of abstinence children will grow up in an environment where
the father and mother live together and have all the essentials to take full
care of them. I believe staying abstinent shows how much love a person
boasts for his or her special someone. I hope the people who read this
realize that some people pray everyday for a mate who has chosen abstinence,
since that gift may be the best present a person can give.
