Archdiocese of New Orleans - The Office of Black Catholic Ministries
"Exalted" the Spirit of a Woman

Purpose: James 4:10 calls us to "Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord and God will exalt you." Humility or to be humble is a call to be unpretentious, to stand in the fullness of who God created you to be and to learn to present the gift of self to God and others. In a world that wishes to define women by earthly standards, God calls women to be the best that we can be. God calls women to be EXALTED!

This conference will spiritually uplift and fortify women to enter more fully into the person who God created them to be; so they can see and grow in their greatness. With a focus of connecting women to God, with the resources in themselves and each other, this gathering provides innovative workshops and promotes an intergenerational dialogue to work collectively to build up each other, the family, the Church and the community. This event will also provide participants with tools to establish women parish-based small faith communities for all ages and ways to evangelizes.

Conference Cost is $125.00
