11th Annual Sacred Liturgy at the African World Festival On Sunday, August 3, 2008 we are sponsoring our 11th Annual Sacred Liturgy at the African World Festival on the Summerfest Grounds. This year's theme is "Nothing Can Separate Us From The Love Of God" based on Romans 8:35, 37-39. Each year hundreds of Catholics from all over the Milwaukee Archdiocese come together to worship as one. We celebrate the gifts of music, culture and liturgical dance with Catholics and non Catholics alike. This year The Most Reverend Bishop J. Terry Steib SVD, the auxiliary bishop of Memphis since 1993, has been invited to celebrate the Eucharist and give the homily. The cost is Free. 1st Assembly of the Southern Conference of Catholic AIDS Ministers "God entrusts us to one another." It emerged from a concern of AIDS ministers and lay ecclesial ministers about the root causes leading to the rise of HIV infections in the South, now considered the "epicenter" of the second wave of AIDS in the country.
