Are you too Stressed to Be Blessed?

Comment on Health & Wellness Articles in the forum

We can increase our immune systems by integrating the following habits into our lives:

bullet

Be Optimistic-having a positive outlook can help the healing process. One study noted how bypass patients who were optimistic had fewer complications and recovered quicker.

bullet

Surround ourselves with humor, friendship and love. We have to stay away from "Naysayers" and learn to laugh at the difficult times. Check out Proverbs 15:15 and Proverbs 17:22.

bullet

Keep an Emergency kit that contains jokes, cartoons, funny stories and videotapes.

bullet

Volunteer-the simple act of giving of your time and feeling needed can boost our immune system.

bullet

Prayer-prepare a quiet place in your home just for you where you can meditate and pray. Light a candle, focus on the flame and pray. 1 Thes. 5:17

Let me leave you with the reminder that we need to know that we are all blessed by a wonderful Savior. There is no need for us to stress over anything. We must pray for guidance and turn it over to the Lord. Don't just talk about it! Be about it! Really and truly "Let Go and Let God" and watch your lives become ever more filled with joy and promise.

Check out Matthew 6:34 and Continue to Be a Blessing.

Until next time, Kneel to Heal.

Peace and Blessings,
Letitia
