Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church
100 Years of Spirit-Filled Worship and Commitment to Our Community

With the consultative leadership of the Parish Pastoral Leadership Team (PPLT), these values are consistently demonstrated by the various parish ministries: Worship, Lifelong Formation and Education, Evangelization, Service, Family Life, Social Concerns, Finance, and Administration.

At Saint Anthony of Padua, you will find a spirit filled musical ministry with Africentric anthems, spirituals, and gospel music, a vibrant Health Ministry (weekly Blood Pressure Screening and Health and Fitness assessments), an energetic Seniors Ministry (bus trips to Miami and Key West, FL), an active Teen Ministry (bag lunch in the park for the homeless), a unified Men's Action Club (Annual Dinner Dance), a dedicated Habitat to Humanity ministry, and a festive Knights of Peter Claver and Knights of Peter Claver Ladies' Auxiliary (Annual Ash Wednesday Red Beans & Rice Dinner and Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras Celebration).

Currently, the Evangelization and the Lifelong Formation Ministries are launching a series of spiritual renewal events, which were designed to foster spiritual development and to provide opportunities for faith sharing within and beyond the parish community. These events consist of a Parish Renewal Day along with a Mini-Series on the Mass. The intent for the parish community is to learn more about the history, traditions, symbols and gestures, biblical references and essential elements of the Mass, in order to enhance the spiritual impact of the Holy Mass for each parishioner and the entire faith community. Saint Anthony of Padua invites the surrounding community to travel and grow with them on this exciting spiritual journey for another 100 years!
